For some time now, I have been struggling to try to get rid of some extra pounds, to improve my self esteem and be able to fit into the clothes I used to wear some years ago. I had tried almost every diet known, from the most popular ones, such as Atkins or the South Beach Diet, to some that were recommended by friends, like the ‘soup’ or the ‘pineapple’ diet. I have even consulted a couple of nutritionists to have a professional and balanced diet arranged for me, but the results have all been the same. In the first few days nothing happened. Then, I would notice that my weight would begin to come down, slowly, but, at the same time, I would feel more tired and depressed, less capable to handle things at work and also extremely sensitive and irritable.
As the weight loss continued at a very slow pace, these feelings would surface evermore frequently and intensely, and soon I would find myself craving for chocolate, chips, popcorn, candy and junk food, which would not only bring my weight up again, but also leave me worse off than from where I had begun. The consequences of so many io-io-like diets were beginning to leave marks on my body, which was becoming more flaccid as well as on my skin, which was starting to show strech marks.
I met Pedro through a friend of mine who had done some work with him and radically changed her body and personality.
On the nutrition side, I was shown the serious mistakes I was making in my eating habits and taught how to derive pleasure and well-being from the different types of food I have learned to include in my everyday meals. My metabolism adjusted to my daily needs, and I started to notice, almost immediately that my skin was smoother and shinier, that my hair and nails were stronger and more beautiful than ever and that, above all, I was loosing weight without depriving myself from anything! I have also realised that I had no need to indulge on chocolate or other fatty foods to compensate for other needs; that I was self-sufficient and able to cope with my stress level. It also helped me raise my self-esteem and to look upon things from a positive – instead of the usually negative – perspective, thus being able to solve problems in a more efficient and faster manner.
Last month I have bought my first bikini, and I look great in it! Thank you Pedro.

I have been using the starbody transitional cuisine approach of mainly raw food and a small amount of cooked food to improve my health and performance for the past 6 months. During that time I have lost a stone in weight and my skin has improved.
Fasting is observed by many people either for the purposes of health or religion. I fast every year, in the past when I would break my fast I would eat fried foods high in fat and starch along with fruits and sometimes but rarely vegetables. While doing this I would feel really tired while fasting and after breaking my fast. I would find it difficult to stay calm and would get annoyed easily while I was fasting. After breaking my fast I would feel really thirsty and lazy.
Since using the starbody nutrition approach fasting has proved to be a very pleasant experience for me. I find it easy to stay calm, and feel emotionally at ease and I feel energised after breaking my fast
My fasting experience has been even more positive and I have begun to focus more on what I do while I am fasting rather what I will eat when I finish. I feel spiritually more at ease and overall really happy and light!
This diet seems to work even better for me when I am fasting than the so called "normal diet".

It has been nearly a year since I have started training with Rosa at the Covent Garden Fitness First Gym. I have had several Personal Trainers in the past whom which I don't remember nor feel that I have learnt much of.
Rosa is certainly a lovely, friendly, easy going, gentle and fun person however, I can honestly say that I haven't had anyone else who has pushed me over and over again past what I thought were my limits. After one session with the Rosa you really feel you have had your money's worth and more. Somehow I always managed to enjoy all of this intensive training.
