Cinema and Television made the discipline of Hypnotherapy a fenomenon, but this science is nothing more than a normal process we all go through every day.
Q: How important is what we eat for our overall condition?
A:The present condition (shape, health status, levels of energy, etc) of our bodies is directly related to what we eat: If we eat less than we "burn" we lose weight and, if we eat more than we "burn", we gain weight. Q: What Kind of Exercise Plans do you recommend in your Programs?

We recommend a multidisciplinary and multi-level approach to our clients that may include the following:
- Cadiovascular interval training is an excelent method to burns calories.By doing a proper porture assessment whilst you exercisewe ensure the correct muscle groups are being used without any compensations occurring.
Interval training involves alternating high intensity exercise with recovery periods. There are different ways to do interval training. One option is measured periods of work followed by measured periods of rest. An exampe would be 1 minute of high intensity work (such as a sprint), followed by 2 minutes of low intensity exercise (e.g., walking) and alternating that several times for 15-30 minutes.
- Weight training is the best workout for fat burning capacity. Your basal metabolic rate (the rate that you burn calories) will increase and as a result you will burn more calories throughout the day.
- Pilates or Physical mind method, is a series of non-impact exercises to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and inner awareness. It is strongly advised to people that want to have a firmer and stronger core (abdominal)
- Yoga: On the physical level, yoga postures, called asanas, are designed to tone, strengthen, and align the body. These postures are performed to make the spine supple and healthy and to promote blood flow to all the organs, glands, and tissues, keeping all the bodily systems healthy. On the mental level, yoga uses breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation (dyana) to quiet, clarify, and discipline the mind. However, experts are quick to point out that yoga.

At home you we can use your body weight for weight bearing exercises. We can use towels and bands for resistance. A Swiss ball, mat and a few lightweights. That is all you need. Q: How will The Star Body tailor an exercise plan for me?
A:
Everyone has different health and fitness goals. We look at every client individually. We will do a health questionnaire and go over injuries and past health history. We will do a postural analysis, movement assessment and check if there are any imbalances in your muscles. Once this is done we will combine exercises to focus on what is required for you with exactly what you want. For example, if you are a female and want weight loss we will combine weight training with cardiovascular exercises in a circuit format, depending on your abilities. We have clients of all ages and with different levels of coordination! If you are male for example and want to increase your muscle mass, we will focus on lower reps and higher sets, as an exemple.
Q: How often will I need to exercise to achieve my health & fitness goals?
A:
Everyone is different, has different body types and different goals in terms of what they want to achieve. If you exercise 3xs a week minimum you will definitely see results. You also need to have adequate rest periods for your muscles to recover, as well as enough sleep, good nutrition and effective lifestyle changes to enhance your health. Nutrition plays a vital aspect in weight management.
Q: Can I be too old or too heavy to exercise?

You are never too old or too fat to exercise! If you are not used to exercise we will take things gradually. We have clients of all ages ranging from 17yrs to 70yrs of age. We will guide you every step of the way through safe, fun and effective workouts.
